Funny.

Had a wonderful time thanks to the immaculate planning of Evon dear on tuesday. We actually went for a cable car ride from sentosa to mt. faber and then back! Wow when was the last time any of you actually went for a cable car ride? Contrary to belief, it was not as nauseatic as i thought. The superb seah im nasi briyani that was gobbled into my tummy was, thankfully, not wasted. Burp. And since i am having such a chaotic time trying to figure out how these pictures are being allocated in this entry, they are turning out quite haphazardly. The one at the top is evidence we scaled the highest point in sentosa, mt imbiah. Incidentally the luge rides are also on imbiah too, as well as a cool looking subway and the cable car embarkation station.

Also, at the top u can also spot two unfamiliar looking faces. No, they were not friendly-looking robbers who came into our cable car wanting to rob us. Rather they were Scots who came here to make friends with singaporeans in cable cars. Nice chaps i must say.

Ok the pictures are not go to where i want them to be and its getting frustrating.

Music makes me sick.

A recent dwelving into the readings of the subject of cults and human psychosis studies made me came across this excerpt below. Now, who dares say music is good for the soul?

“In an imaginary but psychologically emotion-laden domain, the listener who remembers a hit song will turn into the song's ideal subject, into the person for whom the song ideally speaks. At the same time, as one of many who identify with that fictitious subject, that musical I, he will feel his isolation ease as he himself feels integrated into the community of "fans." In whistling such a song he bows to a ritual of socialization, although beyond this unarticulated subjective stirring of the moment his isolation continues unchanged . . . The comparison with addiction is inescapable. Addicted conduct generally has a social component: it is one possible reaction to the atomization which, as sociologists have noticed, parallels the compression of the social network. Addiction to music on the part of a number of entertainment listeners would be a similar phenomenon.”

Or whatever that means. Haha stupid researchers clearly got something against music. Website is here.

S.A.L.T.

It is already 15th of Dec, which makes it slightly less than a month to go before the tepid attachment term finally ends. I am so sick of this already - the regurgitation of the events that confront me every 8.30 a.m, the less-than-pulsating chain of events that follows until my shift ends, and the bitterness of not being able to spend enough time with that someone.

Therefore, countdown with me as i swarm you with a deluge of mathematical equations that had seemed impossible to fathom only 18 weeks ago : 3 weeks 3 1/2 days = (3 x 7 + 3 1/2) days = (24 1/2 - 6 weekend days) weekdays = 18 1/2 days of work left = (18 1/2 x 7 ) working hours left = 129 1/2 working hours left = 7770 working minutes left = 46620 working seconds left = S.A.L.T.T.G. Still a long time to go.

The gruelling marathon is almost over and i can see the finishing line already.

Run forest run!

Feeling as if the stomach had been tied into knots now. Every pore tingles with anticipation. Adrenaline rushes into every part of my body now. I can't wait. I know my body can't wait. The heart thumps loudly, as if sounding the war horn, getting ready for battle. YES - The annual ippt is here, and i ought to pass with at least a silver. Lemme hear a war cry!
