Vegetables? Nah.

When it comes to the 16th of every month, it can only mean one thing ----- FOOD!!!! We will gorge ourselves silly with food that we seldom eat, and today was no exception. After all, we both have a similar mantra: Eat to live, live to eat!

After much hesitation over what to eat (first it was a tug of war between Black Anus - Angus sorry - and Fosters for their juicy steaks), we finally decided on Brazilian Curraschuria, a type of brazilian bbq, at Carnivore in Vivo.

The name says it all - meat meat meat meat and more meat. I swear i had never eaten so much meat in a single meal before. Sausages, pork, ham, sirloin, knuckle, bacon wrapped with breast, topback, chicken heart - you name it they have it. All grilled and marinated to just the right taste, although i feel the taste wasn't consistent for some. Or maybe my taste buds had gone awry with the prospect of so much protein intake.

Of course, to lessen your guilt of having consumed so much meat, they have the obligatory salad bar, which wasn't too bad at all. My favourites were the french beans and baby squid.

One thing different from other buffets was that instead of you having to walk to the counter to pick your food, here they have the weirdly accented waiters walking around with huge skewers of grilled animals impaled in them, and cutting chunks of the animals onto our plates even though the sign on our table says 'NO PLEASE, I'M VERY FULL AND SO IS MY PLATE'. One of them, i suspect, might be a relative of Ms Swan, as baby duly pointed out that he speaks the same as her.

Uhm... some food on my plate?

Here is the female carnivore.

She's gone all obsessed with eating mushrooms after a meaty meal that she's turned into a red-blushing-mushroom-that-is-inverted-from-the-front. Either that or that a big red smiling fungus has grown on her head. Told you to bathe more often liao.....

It was a good meal baby. Thanks for the treat! Happy 28!
